When I Grow Up Sweepstakes
What do your children want to be when they grow up?
A child’s determination can turn today’s dreams into tomorrow’s career. As the Future Scholar program celebrated College Savings Month, State Treasurer Curtis Loftis wanted to see those childhood dreams become reality.
From September 1 through September 25, parents were invited to enter their child, age 10 or under, in the ”When I Grow Up” Sweepstakes by simply taking a photo of their child dressed as what they want to be when they grow up and posting it publicly to their personal Facebook or Instagram account with the hashtag #FutureScholarWhenIGrowUp. Twenty winners (10 from Facebook and 10 from Instagram) were randomly selected to receive a privately-funded $529 contribution to their child’s Future Scholar account.
